I decided to update everyone on my technique because I've changed it up a bit and I wasn't that happy with my last video. The only thing that has changed in regards to my cut/colour was that I added purple to my hair colour, other then that it is pretty much the same cut...maybe my sides are a little shorter. My hair colours are from Special Effects in Virgin Rose (magenta) and Blue Velvet (purple). :)

Psychobilly Fuchsia
I decided to do a psychobilly look because there was a request a little while ago for an edgy pinup look. I love pyschobilly because it is a more extreme version of rockabilly. Psychobilly is more punk than classic, generally with tattoos, shaved heads, bright coloured hair, black and animal print clothing and hot rods.

Rockin' Plaid Nails
I had a couple requests to do a tutorial on my nails from my last makeup tutorial. I decided to change the base colour to silver (I had purple) for a higher contrast. I used Kiss Nail Art Paints from Walmart. You can find the paints in many stores now, but I prefer this brand because the the brushes are finer then most others.

Faux Hawk
I've had several people ask for photos of my hair cut for reference for their hair stylists so I decided to post my photos here. My hair was cut with scissors and clippers. It looks like a razor cut because it has been texturized A LOT, but scissors were used because unfortunately my hair gets too frizzy when a razor is involved. I also requested that my stylist leaves a longer tail in the back and longer side pieces because I feel that it looks more feminine. The colours in my hair are Special Effects Virgin Rose and Blue Velvet (you can barely see it in these photos).

Shine Like a Dung Beetle!
Maybe I should have used scarab beetle instead of dung? It was requested that I do a tutorial on the makeup that I was wearing in my Favourites video. This look is very similar to Vintageortacky's Cotton Candy Popsicle tutorial that she recently posted. BTW, I would like to thank Cora (Vintageortacky) for tweeting about my tutorials! She's a fantastic guru!

Violet Aeterna
I decided to create a dramatic gothic look and finally put to use the wild feather eyelashes that I found at a costume store around Halloween. So this is not an everyday look with the eyelashes, but it's fun! Right? I also used a lip technique I just learned from Shaunteal from the YouTube channel CreatingBeauty. This will be the first of a few avant garde looks that I want to create in the next few weeks.
